How much does a kitchen renovation cost?
Most homeowner kitchen renovations we deliver fall between £15,000 and £45,000 depending on size, whether structural or layout changes are involved, and the level of units, worktops and appliances chosen. You receive a fixed itemised quote after a free survey — never an open-ended estimate.
How long does a bathroom renovation take?
A typical full bathroom strip-out and refit takes three to four weeks from first fix to final seal, allowing time for tanking, tiling and drying between stages. Larger schemes with layout changes or multiple bathrooms take longer, and your programme is confirmed in writing before we start.
Do I need planning permission?
Many extensions and loft conversions fall under permitted development, but this depends on your property type, previous extensions, and whether you are in a conservation area. We assess this at survey stage and, where an application is needed, we prepare and manage it for you.
Are you fully insured?
Yes. Haarth Ltd carries full public liability and employer's liability insurance, and we can provide current certificates on request before works begin.
Can I remain in my home during the works?
In most cases yes. We zone the works, dust-seal the areas in use, protect floors and staircases, and keep at least one kitchen and bathroom serviceable wherever the programme allows. For whole-house refurbishments we will tell you honestly if moving out for a period will be faster and cheaper.
Do you provide guarantees?
Every project comes with a 12-month workmanship guarantee, alongside the manufacturer warranties for the products and appliances installed. All certificates are handed over in a single pack at completion.
Do you manage the whole project?
Yes. One project manager runs your job from survey to handover, coordinating every trade, delivery and inspection, so you never have to chase individual sub-contractors.
Do you supply materials?
We can supply everything through our trade accounts, or fit materials you have chosen and purchased yourself. Whichever route you take, the supply position is set out clearly in your quotation.
